She was in Canada at the time the specter of world terrorism had spread and she sided with anyone but the Western power in fighting terrorism.

This time, she wants to promote democracy and world peace.

Riza Santos, Miss Earth Canada and "Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2" housemate, wants to be a soldier and to prove to the world that a woman her age and talent can be an asset in peacekeeping.

A rigorous training in a military camp is something the Filipino Canadian beauty looks forward to.

Her joining the men and women in uniform not so long ago in Canada as a medic displayed her commitment and dedication to the principles of fighting for one’s country.

"Yes, I wanna join the Army if given the chance. I really wanna be a soldier. It’s my ambition even when I was still a kid," said the statuesque Santos.

Santos's fondness for the Army runs in her blood.

"My grandfather is a World War II veteran and some of my relatives are involved in the military service. And oh! My lola (grandmother) was big fan of General Douglas MacArthur," the beauty queen said.

To prepare for her entry to the Pinoy Big Brother house, Santos did charity work, community service and social activities. She also served as a counselor in a Crisis Pregnancy program.

Santos also secretly wants to become a doctor, which is consistent with her vision of helping and reaching out to other people.

Eyebrows shot up when Santos, FHM's newest cover girl, claimed that she wants to save herself for her wedding night, a vow she sealed by wearing a ring on her engagement finger.

Santos, dubbed as "PBB"’s "Desirable Diva," joined the Miss Earth beauty pageant in 2007 representing Canada.
