You've heard it takes some time - except with Power Egg and Super Sperm here." Peeing is one of my rituals before going onstage." Fergie also tells the magazine that she's concerned about certain starlets' privacy when they're trying to kick a habit. She said, "The thing that appalls me is that when you get these stories from inside rehab. That's supposed to be your sanctuary." The singer, who fought a crystal meth addiction herself, says, "I know we live in a voyeuristic world right now, but how are you supposed to get better when people are constantly leaking stories about you when you're in rehab? It's not conducive to healing." The issue of Allure is on newsstands now.

MORRISSEY SUING NME. The BBC is reporting that Morrissey will sue U-K music magazine NME because of an article that focused on his immigration views. The story quoted the former Smith man as allegedly saying, "Although I don't have anything against people from other countries, the higher the influx into England the more the British identity disappears. So the price is enormous... If you travel to Germany, it's still absolutely Germany. If you travel to Sweden, it still has a Swedish identity... But travel to England and you have no idea where you are." The statement was apparently in response to a query about if he'd ever live in England again. In a follow-up interview concerning those words, the singer added, "It could be construed that the reason I wouldn't wish to live in England is the immigration explosion. And that's not true at all." Morrissey's lawyers gave NME a chance to print a retraction, but the magazine did not, so the legal team will file suit for defamation.

You have assistants and stuff, send your assistant to Starbucks or Benand Jerry's, wherever, TacoBell." Neil just announced a bunch of solo dates he'll be playing, starting on December 9th in Sunrise, Florida and going through January 18th in St. Charles, Missouri.

OZZY AND SHARON TO HOST BRITISH AWARDS SHOW. The Brit Awards, England's version of the GRAMMYs, just got some new hosts... Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne. Some people overseas think the move might be risky since, in the past, when a male and female have shared hosting duties, it hasn't always been that great. In 1989, Fleetwood Mac's Mick Fleetwood and English model Sam Fox ran the show in what many feel was the worst edition of the awards program ever, since the two forgot their lines. Hopefully, Sharon and Ozzy will fare better when they host the 2008 Brit Awards in February.

For the effort, Santana is paring down to a trio with keyboardist Chester "CT" Thompson and drummer Narada Michael Walden. He's excited to work with the two, explaining, "I have yet to do a trio band so this is my opportunity to do kind of like a Tony Williams trio thing. It's a trio with other colors; we're gonna bring other musicians in, singers and stuff like that." Carlos is shooting to have the record out next summer, but no date has been set yet.
FORMER SKYNYRD DRUMMER ARRESTED AGAIN. It's been a pretty rough month for former Lynyrd Skynyrd drummer Artimus Pyle. He was required to do so after pleading guilty in 1993 to charges of attempted capital sexual battery on a victim younger than 12 and being principal to lewd and lascivious behavior on a child younger than 16. He was sentenced to eight years of probation for the offenses and was registered as a sex offender, but no longer lives at the registered address. When authorities learned this, they picked him up a couple weeks ago. He was released on ten-thousand dollars bail, but, since he still hasn't registered a new address, he was arrested again on Tuesday. SNOOP HAS AN ALBUM AND A TV IN THE WORKS. Snoop Dogg's new single "Sensual Seduction" may sound a bit familiar. And the video may remind you of days gone by. And that is okay with Snoop. "That is like something I've always loved doing is like emulating the guys who I wanted to be like and Roger Troutman was one of those guys who influenced me as a kid, as well as Rick James, Prince. So with the video I wanted to add a little bit of all of those elements into it. And then by having that sound on the song it only compliments the video to show that we can actually do that and bring it back to life." Not only is Snoop readying his next album, Ego Trippin, he is currently filming a reality show. "It's called Snoop Dogg's Father Hood. It's coming on the E! channel, it premieres December 9th. It's a T.V. show based on me, my life, and my wife and my kids. Just showing how I balance Snoop Dogg and balance the life of being a father." So now you can enjoy Snoop on TV while you wait for his album to be released. Ego Trippin should be out mid March.
JAY-Z RHYMES. Jay-Z's been in the game for a long time. He gave us the back story on how he got to be the rapper we now know. "It's weird because I started out technically, like I use to write all the time. So I really just started out being technical and then I got real life experience. So my thing was to tell a story and still make it rhyme." Jay's latest rhymes are on his disc American Gangster which is in stores now.

BIRDMAN EXPLAINS ARREST. One day after his arrest, Bryan "Baby" Williams, a.k.a. Birdman, spoke to MTV News to setting things straight. Cash Money Records founder said that when they were pulled over, he was asleep in the back, but nonetheless, they were arrested, but not for being in possession of a pound but it was actually much less. Additionally, it was revealed that guns were found on the RV, but Baby maintains they were all legit, saying that him and his security are licensed to carry weapons, all of which were returned to them. So, that's the reason no gun charges were brought up and they are "good" on that front. And as far as him being reported as married, that is not true. Baby said, "I'm not married. Never! Been! Married! Plus, that girl was 18! I don't get down like that! Plus, if I was married, why would I keep it a secret?" The rapper is currently on the road promoting the release of his new solo album, 5 Star G, which is due out December 11th. He's currently free on a 15 hundred dollar bond and is due back in court on March 18th.

And when I work I generally work alone when I'm writing a song, or when I'm adding different instrumentation arranging the song. And that's exactly what I did with this record."
FEIST ON FRIENDS. Before Feist was a solo artist she was part of the music collective, Broken Social Scene. Feist says that sense of collaboration has stayed with her. "Some of the best times I've spent with friends have been when you're focusing on something outside of each of yourselves on some greater project. Whether it be helping your friend paint or making videos. And that doesn't mean every moment is high five-ing and hanging out with your feet kicked up, it's hard work. So your friendships become that much more potent." Feist's latest album, The Reminder, is out now.
FLYING HIGH WITH FLYLEAF. How do Flyleaf feel about their success? Bassist Pat Seals is eternally grateful. "Everything we've been given is like exponentially great. For the record to be doing as well as it has and be able to keep going on the road when other bands are having to go back and start a second cycle is a gift." Flyleaf say they'll release the follow-up to their debut album next year.
SLAIN FORMER RAMONES MANAGER'S ASSISTANT PLEADS NOT GUILTY. Natavia Lowery, the former personal assistant of ex-Ramones co-manager Linda Stein, pleaded not guilty on Tuesday to Stein's murder. Stein was found beaten to death in her posh New York apartment on October 30th, and Lowery initially denied knowing anything about the slaying, blaming a masked man. However, later, in a signed statement, she confessed to bludgeoning Stein after she blew marijuana smoke in her face and made derogatory remarks about black people. In the statement, Lowery, who is black, reveals she took Stein's cane and hit her with it.
